The EVENING TIDE is a fast, comfortable 1998 25-foot Parker sports cabin with a 9' 6" beam and weighs 5000 pounds. She is powered by a 200 HP Yamaha outboard. A forward bunk and a private porta-potty are enclosed in a huge cabin. perfect for those young family outings. A 100 square foot fishing area provides plenty of fishing room for four anglers. Our live well makes it great for live lining bunkers and other live bait. The EVENING TIDE is equipped with two VHF radios, chart plotter, backup GPS, color fish finder, radar, AM/FM/CD sound system, and all Coast Guard required safety equipment. Three halogen lights provide illumination for nighttime fishing. The EVENING TIDE is fully insured and licensed, and has a NY D.E.C. permit for fishing in New York waters. Capt. Kyle has been fishing since his childhood days, surf fishing Sandy Hook beach down to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He has operated boats from the Martha’s Vineyard’s Monster Shark Tournament down to the Beach Haven’s White Marlin tournament out of Hudson, Spencer and Wilmington canyons. Fishing Raritan Bay since 1992, Capt. Kyle has always had a special interest catching Striped bass. His fishing skills and knowledge of the local waters by the marina, let him go the extra distance to cast and net his own bunker with precision using a 20-foot cast net from East Coast Nets. Capt. Kyle has a keen eye for spotting schools of bunker, the preferred bait Striped Bass Crave.
Captain Kyle is a U.S Coast Guard OUPV Licensed captain with first aide, CPR training and is enrolled in the APCA random drug testing program.
Kyle Jr. started fishing very young. He learned the ropes of fishing with his father from day one. What took his dad years to learn; Kyle jr. has learned in a short amount of time. He is a very successful fisherman as well, casting a net for bait to fishing popular tournaments. Kyle Jr. has been fishing Raritan Bay for his entire life. A great personality that can stike up a good conversation and a fast learner. Capt. Kyle is privileged to have his son for a mate.
